After winning both the ABA League and the Serbian League after eternal rivals Partizan Belgrade, Crvena Zvezda announced its first reinforcement ahead of the 2024-25 season, where it’s still not fully clear if they will play in the EuroLeague or in the EuroCup.
Coming from a successful one-year stint in Mega Basket, Uros Plavsic has signed with the red-and-white side until 2027. The 25-year-old Serbian center has been averaging 15.4 points and 7.7 rebounds in 27 ABA League games this season with the pink side while shooting 65.6% from the field.
Before coming back to Serbia, he spent five years in college at Arizona State (2018-19) and Tennessee (2019-23). He previously made his professional debut at 18 years of age in the Serbian League with Smederevo alongside then-NBA player Goga Bitadze.
