Even though he spoke about “winning many titles in the coming years” with Real Madrid, Mario Hezonja reportedly has a deal in place to return to Barcelona.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the Croatian forward has signed a deal to return to the club where he played between the ages of 17 and 20. As stated, the deal is for five seasons, with an annual salary of around 3 million euros net.
The Catalan outlet also reminds that Real Madrid has the right of first refusal over the player, which they will be able to exercise when the relevant period opens in a few days, but it’s doubtful that the Blancos will make use of that right.
Potentially a huge move for Barcelona, who recently announced the signing of coach Joan Pennarroya for the next two seasons.
