Isaiah Canaan is leaving Olympiacos and has already agreed with Crvena Zvezda with a two-year deal, as Meridian Sports reported and Eurohoops sources confirmed.

The former NBA player, who has competed for Houston, Philadelphia, Chicago, Houston, Phoenix, and Milwaukee, played for Olympiacos since the summer of 2022 and competed in two EuroLeague Final Fours.

The 33-year-old guard in 41 EuroLeague games this season averaged 11.1 points in 23 minutes per game, with an impressive 42.5% in threes.

Greek reported Sotiris Vetakis reported first the interest of the Serbian club, as Olympiacos for quite some time was thinking of alternatives on the backcourt and had an overloaded roster with non-Greek players, which created an issue in the domestic league games due to the local eligibility rules.

To be exact, if French big man Mous Fall was healthy, Canaan was not expected to be used in the Greek League finals against Panathinaikos due to the six non-Greek players limit.
