Ricky Rubio got back on the court a couple of months ago, signing a deal with Barcelona until the end of the season.
He couldn’t help Blaugrana achieve its goal, and he could leave the club to rejoin Joventut, according to Catalan outlet L’Esportiu.
Apparently, during the four months he has been at Barca, he did not experience the sensations he expected when he joined. Therefore, Rubio doesn’t see himself returning right now, and it doesn’t seem like the club will create obstacles if he wants to change teams.
Badalona reportedly emerged as a viable option, but the operation will not be easy, even though Rubio is once again open to returning to Joventut after 15 years.
Ricky recently explained that he needs some time to reflect, and during this period, he announced his decision to withdraw from participating in the pre-Olympic tournament with the Spanish national team and also from attending the Paris Olympic Games if Spain qualifies.
