Moving overseas for the first time since turning professional, Armoni Brooks is the latest signing made by Olimpia Milan, which announced him officially for the next two years.
“I am super excited to join the Olimpia Miano family. Playing for a historic club like this is such a great honor that I can’t wait to come to Italy and compete in one of the best leagues in the world and play against some of the best competition there is in this sport”, he commented in an official statement on the team’s website.
“I feel blessed to have been given this great opportunity and I will give my best each and every day to make sure we win as many games as possible”, the 26-year-old guard continued.
After ending his college career in 2019 with the Houston Cougars, he played in the 2019-20 G-League with the College Park Skyhawks, where he also played later on in his career. Playing 13 games with the Toronto Raptors in 2022, he spent last season with the Brooklyn Nets, averaging 6.6 points per game.
His best individual season came in 2020-21 with the Houston Rockets, putting up 11.2 points per game over 20 appearances with also 3.4 rebounds and 1.5 assists per apperance.
