EA7 Emporio Armani Milan fully expects Nikola Mirotic to remain part of the squad, heading to the 2024-25 season.
Despite the early reports linking the 33-year-old power forward to AS Monaco, there is no indication about him parting ways with the Italian club, per multiple Eurohoops sources.
Under the guidance of experienced Ettore Messina, Mirotic is projected to remain an important piece in the plan for the next season. Releasing him from his contract, with a buyout or not, is not an option for Milan, especially after the recent departure of team captain Nicolo Melli.
Despite the early reports about Nikola Mirotic having contacts with Monaco, there’s no indication from multiple sources that the star forward is leaving Milan.
On the contrary he is expected to be again one of the cornerstones of coach Messina’s team.

Early in the offseason with players switching clubs and rosters far from complete across the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, Mirotic stands as the only power forward under contract for Le Scarpette Rosse. Incoming added depth includes Zach LeDay. After being released from his contract with Partizan Mozzart Bet on Friday, the 30-year-old forward is expected to reunite with Milan and share most of the minutes in the four position with Mirotic.
In the first campaign with his third EuroLeague team, following FC Barcelona and Real Madrid, Mirotic averaged 16.9 points and 5.7 rebounds per game. His introduction was combined with a 15-19 W-L tally in the Regular Season, two games shy of a berth in the Play-In Showdown.
At the domestic level, the former NBA player was named Finals MVP, leading his side to the LBA UnipolSai championship. He tallied 14.9 points and 4.8 rebounds per contest across all competitions in Italy.
