Daniele Baiesi is reportedly set to leave his role as Bayern Munich’s sports director, and according to Meridian Sport, Dragan Tarlac could replace him.
Apparently, Bayern is interested in Tarlac, and the club’s representatives were already in Belgrade a couple of weeks ago.
Tarlac has been working as the Serbian national team director since 2021 and is currently preparing the team for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
As reported, if Bayern and Tarlac reach an agreement, the Serbian would join the Munich club after the Paris Games.
Before becoming a basketball executive, Tarlac had a successful career as a player, winning the EuroLeague in 1997 with Olympiacos and playing in the NBA with the Chicago Bulls.
