The contract between 30-year-old Italian combo guard Stefano Tonut and EA7 Emporio Armani Milan has been extended until the end of the 2025-26 season.
Olimpia Milan announced the contract extension on Friday.
Per the press release: “Olimpia Milano has extended Stefano Tonut’s contract up to and including the 2025/26 season.
Tonut arrived in Milan in the summer of 2023 and over the following two years at Olimpia he helped the team win two consecutive Italian league championships. During the season that just ended he played 29 EuroLeague games (averaging 5.9 points per game, shooting 49.2 percent on threes) and 36 Italian league games (averaging 7.1 points per game, 59.3 percent on two-point shooting).
“As I have always said, I am really happy to continue playing for Olimpia Milano, the club that allowed me to continue my growth path at the highest European levels. I wish to thank the owners and the coaching staff for their trust. I will give my best to make sure I can repay it again. Earlier in the offseason, the storied Italian club welcomed Armoni Brooks, Nenad Dimitrijevic, Josh Nebo, and Zach LeDay as additions to the 2024-25 squad for head coach Ettore Messina.
