Codi Miller-McIntyre is moving from Baskonia to Crvena Zvezda

Codi Miller-McIntyre is en route to Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet.

Coming out of a brilliant campaign in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague with Baskonia, he is set to switch to the Belgrade outfit, as reported by Sportklub and confirmed by Eurohoops. Zvezda bought out his contract to complete the transfer. Respective announcements to make the deal between involved parties official are pending.

Displaying his talents in Europe’s premier club competition for the first time, the former Wake Forest standout tallied 9.6 points, 7.3 assists, 4.4 rebounds, and 0.9 steals per contest. Featuring in 39 games, including 36 starts for the team based in Vitoria-Gasteiz, his efforts were highlighted by dishing out 20 assists in a win against LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne, a new EuroLeague record for the most assists in a single game. Adding 11 points and 11 rebounds, he shaped the fourth triple-double in league history.

Opening the offseason in style, Zvezda added Isaiah Canaan, Mike Daum, Nikola Kalinic, and Uros Plavsic to the roster for head coach Giannis Sfairopoulos. Also, team captain Branko Lazic penned a contract extension, as did Joel Bolomboy, Yago Dos Santos, Rokas Giedraitis, and Milos Teodosic as well.

Winning the AdmiralBet ABA League, AdmiralBet Basketball League of Serbia, and Radivoj Korac Cup produced the highlights of the 2023-24 campaign for Zvezda at the regional and domestic levels. At the continental level, an 11-23 run in the EuroLeague Regular Season fell six games shy of a berth in the Play-In Showdown.
