Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv is looking for new reinforcements, and according to Meridian Sport, wants to add Serbian national team player Aleksa Avramovic to its ranks.
Avramovic, who played the last three seasons with Partizan, has a deal for another year with the Belgrade team, but so did Kevin Punter and Zach LeDay, who left for Barcelona and Olimpia Milano respectively.
The Serbian club is in the process of rebuilding, and now one of their core players from the last couple of years is attracting interest from fellow EuroLeague teams.
In the previous season, Avramovic averaged 10.2 points, 1.8 assists, and 1.8 rebounds in the EuroLeague, and 10.8 points with 2.7 assists and two rebounds in the ABA League. He is also known for his defensive skills.
Avramovic is currently with the Serbian National Team, preparing for the upcoming 2024 Paris Olympics, after winning the silver medal at the 2023 FIBA World Cup last summer.
