Shaquielle McKissic was once again present at the Stoiximan AegeanBall Festival in Syros, where he talked about his former teammate Sasha Vezenkov’s future.
The two were teammates from 2020 to 2023, and “Shaq” hopes the moment they reunite on the court in the red and white jersey doesn’t take too long.
Above all, however, he wishes the best for the 26-year-old Bulgarian power forward, now with the Toronto Raptors.
“We talk often. I recently gave him my advice, asking if he is surrounded by many good people. I want to see him live his dream in the NBA if that’s what he wants too. We always wanted him at Olympiacos, but there will always be a place for him here. There’s no need to rush, although I would prefer it that way. I wish he would return tomorrow, but that’s selfish. I’m happy for him. I hope he succeeds in the NBA. If not, of course, he can return to Olympiacos,” he said.
