Olympiakos and Sasha Vezenkov are ready to get back together when – and if – Toronto gives the green light.
On the contrary, Panathinaikos‘ attempt to approach the 2023 Euroleague MVP was unsuccessful.
According to Eurohoops sources, Olympiakos and Vezenkov have agreed in principle on a rich multi-year contract and the question remains the disposition of Toronto.
A reunion that seemed very likely should now be considered a given, as long as the Raptors make a final decision on the player’s future.
Toronto’s official position remains that Vezenkov is an asset and they want to see him in the preseason, but on the other hand, it’s clear that Vezhekov’s presence in the NBA so far has not been what he expected.
Although nothing is over yet, it is clear that in Europe for Vezenkov there is only Olympiacos.
