Greek center Giorgos Papagiannis is on the move from Fenerbahce to Monaco, as Sportal.gr reported. Following the footsteps of Nick Calathes who moved to the same team, Papagiannis is expected to get a one-year deal with his new club.

According to the same report, Fenerbahce will get a buyout – contrary to Calathes who left as a free agent – and the official announcement is expected soon.

The 27-year-old big man who was the 13th pick of the 2016 NBA draft played also for Panathinaikos and has emerged as a solid EuroLeague center.

He has won domestic league titles both in Turkey and Greece and has also played in the NBA for Sacramento and Portland.
