Olimpia Milano continues reinforcing its ranks before the 2024/25 season.
As officially confirmed, the Italian champions have reached a multi-year deal with Argentine guard Leandro Bolmaro.
“I’m really excited about the challenge that awaits me; I’m incredibly happy to join a big club like Olimpia Milano. I will try to do my best to help the team and this great organization reach the peaks that they deserve. I can’t wait to start the new season and play with my new teammates and for Coach Ettore Messina,” Bolmaro said.
The 23-year-old started his career in Argentina before moving to Barcelona in 2018, winning the Copa del Rey and Spanish league in 2020/21. He then joined the NBA, playing for Minnesota and Utah. In 2023, he returned to Europe, finishing the season with Tenerife and then moving to Bayern Munich, where he helped win the German title and German Cup.
He averaged 8.4 points and 3.4 assists in 30 EuroLeague appearances last season under Pablo Laso and 7.7 points and 2.8 assists in the Bundesliga-winning campaign.
