Losing to Panathinaikos in last year’s EuroLeague Final, Real Madrid is preparing the roster to take revenge in the 2024-25 season.
After securing the contract extensions of Mario Hezonja, Dzanan Musa, Walter Tavares, and head coach Chus Mateo, other than announcing the arrival of Andres Feliz, the Spanish powerhouse shared the arrival of another asset in the backcourt.
The 30-year-old guard Xavier Rathan-Mayes officially signed a two-year contract with Real Madrid and will debut in the EuroLeague.
He’s coming off an exceptional 2023-24 season in the VTB League with Enisey Krasnojarsk, averaging 25.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 4.4 assists per game in Russia, losing only to CSKA Moscow in the Playoffs.
Previously, he has had several experiences between Europe, NBL, and G-League, debuting professionally in 2017 with the Westchester Knicks after ending his college career with Florida State.
