Jordan Loyd signs two-year deal with Maccabi Tel Aviv

Jordan Loyd is opening a new chapter in his career.

After two years in France with AS Monaco, the US guard signed a two-year contract to join Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv, Eurohoops can confirm. Additionally, no out clause is included and the deal should be soon  made official.

Loyd is returning to Israel, where he previously played for Hapoel Eilat in the 2017/18 season before he went to the Toronto Raptors and won an NBA championship in 2019.

After that, he moved to Valencia, then spent a season with Crvena Zvezda and Zenit St. Petersburg, before going to Monaco in 2022. He won two Betclic Elite titles in France and a French Cup.

Loyd’s final season with Monaco was riddled with injuries, as he played only 20 games and averaged 10.4 points with 2.7 rebounds and two assists. In the French league, he played only 12 games and averaged 12.8 points with 3.5 rebounds and 1.7 assists.
