John DiBartolomeo’s love story with Maccabi Tel Aviv isn’t ending anywhere soon.

The 33-year-old captain has officially extended his contract with the yellow-and-blue team for two more years, staying until 2026 to add even more trophies to his cabinet after lifting six Israeli championships in the past.

“My brothers, I am happy to announce that we are staying together for two more years. Maccabi and Israel are my home. I can no longer wait until I get on the court again to start the season. Maccabi is in my heart. Come on, let’s do it”, he commented on the club’s official website.

The Israeli side coached by Oded Kattash said goodbye to several backcourt players like Lorenzo Brown, Wade Baldwin IV, and Joe Thomasson – while also parting ways with Bonzie Colson and Josh Nebo.

Alongside John DiBartolomeo, Jordan Loyd was recently announced as the newest player of Maccabi Tel Aviv after two successful EuroLeague seasons with AS Monaco.
