Panathinaikos took the EuroLeague and Greek League titles last season, and one of their biggest stars on the way to success was the US guard Kendrick Nunn.
That’s why, even before the final battles, he signed a two-year contract extension, but with an NBA out clause – which has now expired.
The clause that had expiry date through July 15th was not used, and Panathinaikos gets to keep one of the standout players from the 2023/24 season for the upcoming season.
Even though he was debuting in the EuroLeague, Nunn established himself as a great offensive threat, averaging 16 points, three assists, and 2.7 rebounds in his 35 appearances in the top continental competition.
He was named to the All-EuroLeague First Team and the All-Greek League First Team last season.
