The film production company Pollack Films revealed the production of an upcoming basketball documentary called “Hoops Without Borders”, that will emphasize “the heart, soul, and unyielding spirit of American basketball players carving out new lives on courts around the globe”.

As Pollack Films announced, the pilot episode is in production. The various stories are based on the work of agents Andy and Cindy Bountogianis, capable of bringing 109 players from the United States to leagues across the globe, including Italy, Japan, France, Turkey, and more.

“Hoops Without Borders is more than a sports documentary. It’s a journey of the human spirit, fighting through adversity, and embracing the world one country at a time. It’s about personal growth, resilience, and the beautiful game that brings us all together”, the plural-decorated producer George Veras said.

Former AS Monaco teammates Jordan Loyd and Donta Hall, alongside overseas veterans Ike Udanoh and Jordan Morgan, as well as former NBA center Kosta Koufos, are only a few of the names present in the documentary.

“These players are like family to us. For me, it is an honor and privilege to help them navigate their careers and in doing so they have the opportunity to experience what the world and their basketball careers have to offer. Each and every day my responsibility is to inspire and motivate them to become the best they can be”, Andy Bountogianis commented.
