Real Madrid captain Sergio Llull signed what may be the last contract of his professional career. The veteran superstar guard penned a deal until 2025 with a Real Madrid, looking to retire with the club according to Carlos Sanchez Blas.

The agreement between LLull and Real Madrid was reportedly reached before the Olympic Qualifiers and the Spanish player signed his contract this week.

This will be 36-year-old Llull’s 19th season with Real Madrid, the most by anyone else who’s ever wore the Blancos’ jersey. He joined the team from Manresa in 2007 and climbed the ranks of European basketball to become one of the top players outside the NBA.

Throughout his career with Real, Llull has won three EuroLeague championships in 2015, 2018 and 2023 when he hit the last-seconds game-winner in the Final. He also claimed 22 titles in Spain.

In 2017, Llull was named EuroLeague MVP.
