It looks like Crvena Zvezda is bringing another piece to its ranks.

According to Meridian Sport, the Belgrade club has made a deal to bring back Ognjen Dobric.

As reported, now the ball is in Virtus Bologna’s court, since the Italian club needs to decide whether to let him go, as he’s still under contract in Italy.

However, it is expected that Virtus Bologna will give the green light for Dobric to return to Belgrade.

He already played for Crvena Zvezda from 2016 to 2023 and won four ABA League titles, among many other domestic accolades.

Last season, Dobric averaged around 13 minutes in 28 EuroLeague appearances for the Italians, scoring 4.7 points with 1.6 rebounds. He is currently with the Serbian national team, preparing for the upcoming 2024 Paris Olympics.
