Aleksa Avramovic reportedly moving to CSKA from Partizan

Partizan Belgrade guard Aleksa Avramovic is expected to part ways with the team after three years and join Russian powerhouse CSKA Moscow, according to Mozzart Sport.

The deal between Avramovic and CSKA will likely be finalized after the completion of the 2024 Olympic Games where the player will represent his native Serbia for a second straight summer.

Avramovic has one year left in his contract with Partizan but will likely be the next on a list of core players to leave the club this summer, like Kevin Punter, Zach LeDay, James Nunnally and Alen Smailagic.

In 2023-24, Avramovic averaged 10.2 points, 1.8 assists and 1.8 rebounds in the EuroLeague, along with 10.8 points, 2.7 assists and 2.2 rebounds in the ABA League. Partizan failed to reach its goals in both competitions, finishing 11th in the EuroLeague regular season and getting swept by archrival Crvena Zvezda in the ABA Finals.

These results were a key reasons behind Partizan undergoing big changes this summer. So far, the team has signed former NBA guard Frank Ntilikina and EuroLeague guard Iffe Lundberg.
