Rokas Jokubaitis will not continue at Barcelona in the 2024/25 season.

The Catalan club and the Lithuanian player have agreed to end the contractual relationship that bound both parties until June 30, 2025, and Jokubaitis is now a free agent.

Jokubaitis arrived in Barcelona in the summer of 2021, coming from Zalgiris de Kaunas, his training club. The Lithuanian guard, who spent three seasons with Blaugrana, played 244 games between the Endesa League (116), the Euroleague (112), the Copa del Rey (7), the Supercopa (5), and the Catalan League (4).

He was chosen as the Rising Star of the Euroleague in his first season. Defending the colors of Barça, Jokubaitis has won an ACB League (2023), a Copa del Rey (2022), and two Catalan Leagues (2022 and 2023).

He spoke about potentially returning to Zalgiris, and certain reports link him to Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Recently, Jokubaitis played in the NBA Summer League for the New York Knicks. In five games, he averaged 9.8 points and 3.8 assists.
