Baskonia is on the way to making another important summer addition to its roster.
According to Gabriel Pantel-Jouve from BeBasket, Donta Hall and the Spanish club have found an agreement, and the US center is expected to sign a two-year deal.
Hall’s contract with Monaco recently expired, and Monaco was reportedly willing to keep him, but it seems that he’ll change clubs after three seasons with the French champions.
There was also some NBA interest in the 26-year-old, but Hall is on his way to stay in Europe and sign with Baskonia.
Last season, his third with the Roca Team, the athletic center played 38 games in the EuroLeague and averaged 4.9 points with 3.5 rebounds.
Baskonia is therefore on the verge of adding a third new player to its ranks, after signing Kamar Baldwin and Timothee Luwawu-Cabarrot. The Vitorian club also appointed Pablo Laso as the new head coach.
UPDATE: Baskonia announced that Hall signed a two-year contract with the team.
