Duane Washington Jr. already calls Partizan Belgrade his “new home”. That’s what the 2000-born guard wrote on his official social media accounts, hinting at his upcoming and first overseas move.
After Mozzart Sport reported a couple of days ago, the 24-year-old American player is set to sign a one-year deal with the black-and-white Serbian powerhouse, strengthening Zeljko Obradovic‘s team’s backcourt after bringing in Iffe Lundberg and Frank Ntilikina.
Coming off the 2024 NBA Summer League with New York, Derek Fisher’s nephew has NBA and G-League experiences in his three-year career thus far, playing also for the Indiana Pacers and the Phoenix Suns. In a total of 79 NBA appearances, he averaged 9.1 points, 1.9 assists, and 1.5 rebounds.
