After collecting double-double after double-double in the past three EuroLeague campaigns with ASVEL, Youssoupha Fall officially parted ways with the French team.
Only a few minutes after his official departure from Lyon, Barcelona announced his addition on a one-year deal to become the third center of the team after Willy Hernangomez and Jan Vesely.
It won’t be his first time playing in the ACB, as Youssoupha Fall already spent time with Baskonia from 2019 to 2021. He previously emerged in Le Mans from 2015 to 2018, spending also one season with SIG Strasbourg in 2018-19.
The Senegalese center is coming off a season in the EuroLeague where he promised 8.8 points and 6.6 rebounds per game, ending as one of the best players on the French team’s roster.
