Coming to Munich after a first overseas campaign with Fenerbahce, Carsen Edwards agreed on a contract extension with the Bavarian powerhouse on a 1+1 deal.

The American shooting guard is coming off an unstoppable form in the Bundesliga Playoffs, averaging 16.9 points and 2.2 assists per game over 42.2% from beyond the arc to lead his team to the championship victory, being named BBL Finals MVP.

In the EuroLeague, he was the only one on Pablo Laso’s team capable of playing all 34 games alongside Nick Weiler-Babb, and finished as second-best scorer on Bayern Munich’s team behind Serge Ibaka. He had 11.5 points per game internationally.

He’s excited to stay in Munich and start working with the newest head coach Gordon Herbert. “I’m really excited to come back to Munich for the next season. I’m looking forward to the coming year and especially to seeing our fans again”, Carsen Edwards said.
