Maccabi Tel Aviv announced the addition of combo guard Daryl Macon. The American signed a contract for the upcoming season that includes an option for 2025-26.
“I’m super excited to finally get a chance to play in front of the Maccabi fans,”Daryl Macon said per Maccabi. “I’ve heard so much about you. I have only been told good things about this amazing club. I’m grateful for the opportunity to return to the big stage of the Euroleague, and let’s have a great season.”
Macon is back in the EuroLeague after 2021-22 when he played for Panathinaikos Athens. He averaged 13.1 points, 3.6 assists and 2.2 rebounds during that run while registering a memorable 34-point (on 9-12 triples) performance in a win over Anadolu Efes.
After Panathinaikos, Macon joined Unics Kazan in Russia. He spent last season with the Shenzen Leopards, posting 18.9 points, 6.1 assists and 3.5 rebounds in the Chinese League.
