Pablo Laso has a history of working with young gems in his teams, from his time with Real Madrid all the way to his latest season with Bayern Munich in the EuroLeague. That’s good news for both Pavel Savkov and Ousmane Ndiaye, who are set to play under Baskonia‘s rotations.
Having the opportunity to play in the G-League with the Birmingham Squadron, the 2002-born Russian forward had 3.2 points per game in 22 appearances in America. He returned to Spain towards the end of the 2022-23 season with Gipuzkoa Basket, averaging 4.9 points and 1.8 rebounds in LEB Oro.
The 2004-born Senegalese talent promised 9.2 points and 7.5 rebounds in the 2022-23 LEB Plata with Baskonia‘s second team while joining newly promoted Zunder Palencia last year. In the latest ACB season, he had 5.0 points and 4.1 rebounds in his first professional experience.
