Paris welcomed Maodo Lo on Friday.
Lo, 31, penned a two-year contract with EA7 Emporio Armani Milan last summer. An early termination of the contract with the storied Italian club led him to Paris and his ninth individual campaign in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague.
At Le Scarpette Rosse, Lo averaged 7.6 points, 2.7 assists, 1.7 rebounds, and 0.5 steals per game over 21 appearances, including ten starts in the 2023-24 edition of Europe’s premier club continental competition. His contributions to winning Italy’s LBA UnipolSai amounted to 7.9 points, 2.4 assists, and 1.4 rebounds per contest over 14 appearances between the Regular Season and Playoffs.
From playing under Ettore Messina to the capital of France with Tiago Splitter tasked to guide Paris in the team’s EuroLeague debut. Earlier in the offseason, Leo Cavaliere, Kavarrius Hayes, Daulton Hommes, and Yakuba Ouattara were added to the 2024-25 roster.
Before joining Olimpia Milan, the Berlin native played for ALBA Berlin, FC Bayern Munich, and Brose Bamberg in the EuroLeague. Overall, he is up to 220 features between 2016 and 2023.
Representing Germany in the 2024 Olympic Games, he tallied 0.7 points and 1.3 assists per contest over three games played in France. Last summer, he was part of the championship run in the 2023 FIBA World Cup, producing 6.6 points and 2.5 assists per game. In addition, he earned a bronze medal in the 2022 EuroBasket. Further international action included the Tokyo Games held in 2021 and the 2019 World Cup.
