Keenan Evans’ adventure with Olympiacos may not be starting soon on the court as he needs to fully recover from his long-time injury, but he at least landed in Greece to start this new chapter.

Despite his current status, the red-and-white club still decided to believe in him, signing the American guard to a three-year deal. During the LKL Playoffs, he severely injured himself in his knee ligaments. He was also ruled out for the vast majority of the 2022-23 season due to an Achilles tendon injury.

Once landing in Greece, the former Zalgiris Kaunas guard sent a message to his new fans. “I’m so excited to be here, excited for the opportunity. I can’t wait to meet my teammates, the coaches, and get the ball rolling. I’m excited for the season, ready to get back healthy to play and make everybody proud”, he said.

Trying out his value in the NBA with the Detroit Pistons after four years at Texas Tech, his first overseas experience came in the 2019-20 season with Igokea. From then on, he moved to Israel with Hapoel Haifa and Maccabi Tel Aviv, flourishing as floor general in Lithuania from the summer of 2022.
