James Nunnally wasn’t present for the “Black and White Symphony” event in Belgrade to unveil Partizan’s new roster for the 2024-25 season, and now the Serbian powerhouse officially said goodbye to him with a post on their social media profiles.
“The basketball player who, thanks to everything he provided on the court, became one of the favorites of Partizan fans, will no longer be part of the team, but remains an indispensable part of the Club’s history as an important asset of the generation winner of the seventh ABA League title”, the club stated.
Joining Partizan in 2022, the 1990-born forward will stay as one of the most iconic foreigner of the black-and-white club alongside Kevin Punter and Zach LeDay since their EuroLeague comeback.
The Serbian club – where he won the 2022-23 ABA League – was the second chapter for James Nunnally alongside head coach Zeljko Obradovic, after spending time with the legendary mastermind in Fenerbahce too.
He played also for Milan in the EuroLeague, while embracing other experiences overseas from 2012 on. James Nunnally lived NBA stints too, with the Atlanta Hawks and Philadelphia 76ers in 2014, and with the Minnesota Timberwolves (2018-19) and New Orleans Pelicans (2021) later on.
