Evan Fournier had a summer to remember after winning the silver medal in the Paris Olympics. Still, he remains a free agent. Even though the NBA was his priority during the summer, he also has EuroLeague offers on the table and is seriously considering the possibility of returning to Europe.

Per Eurohoops sources, clubs from Spain, Italy and of course France have either made an offer or express formal interest, while Fournier himself in the past had wrote on twitter that he would like to play in Greece for Olympiacos, if he returned to Europe.

Since 2012 Fournier has played in the NBA for the Denver Nuggets, the Orlando Magic, the Boston Celtics, the New York Knicks and most recently for the Detroit Pistons.

His best seasons came in Orlando, where he paired up with another European NBA star, Nikola Vucevic. During the 2020-21 season for the Magic he averaged 19.7 ppg before getting traded to Boston.

Fournier is one of the most decorated players with the French national team, having won two Olympic silvers, two bronze medals in the FIBA World Cup and also a silver and a bronze in the Eurobasket.

He was the 20th draft pick in 2012 and has played in France for Nanterre and Poitiers before moving to the NBA.
