Boosting Paris in the first Turkish Airlines EuroLeague campaign in team history, Maodo Lo carries the experience of eight years and 220 appearances in the premier club continental competition of Europe.

Lo, 31, discussed his next challenge in an interview shared by the French club on Friday.

“Last season was very complicated because of all the injuries,” he said on the preceding run with EA7 Emporio Armani Milan, “I was forced to miss many games. Especially in the Euroleague, it is difficult to get time to come back once the season starts because of the pace.”

The Berlin native tallied 7.6 points per game over 21 appearances in the previous edition of EuroLeague. He added 7.9 points per contest in Italy’s LBA UnipolSai, helping his side win the league championship for a third straight year.

“I am looking forward to this season in Paris and being in shape because if that is the case I can bring talent, experience, and all my qualities,” continued Lo, “That is honestly what I expect from this season, to help my team by showing what I am capable of.”

During the offseason, he averaged 0.7 points per game for Germany in the 2024 Olympic Games.

“I am a fan of the city. I am learning French. It is always nice to have several cultural experiences in life,” he commented on adding Paris to the list of cities marking his career, “All this was very attractive to me.”
