Jordan Nwora had an impressive start in his tenure with Anadolu Efes, scoring 21 points to go along with six rebounds and five assists in the 82-77 prep win against Bayern Munich in the “EuroLeague Stars in Hala Tivoli” tournament, where the defending EuroLeague champions Panathinaikos also competes.
The Turkish side had the lead for most of the night with point guard Darius Thompson adding 14 points, four rebounds, and two assists, while big man Daniel Oturu scored 14 points.
For the Germans, center Devin Booker scored 21 points while sharp-shooter Andreas Obst had 16 points, four rebounds, and four assists.
Efes will face Panathinaikos in the final of the tournament, while Bayern will play against hosts Cedevita Olimpija.
