In the last professional game of Unicaja Malaga captain Carlos Suarez, his team crushed Baskonia 102 – 69 to win the 2025 edition of the Costa Del Sol Tournament.
Yankuba Sima (18 points, five rebounds) and Kameron Taylor (18 points) led Malaga’s scorers. Kendrick Perry (12 points) also stood out from an overall superb offensive team performance as seven players of Unicaja finished in double figures.
Malaga newcomer Olek Balcerowski played 12:17 and scored five points.
Donta Hall finished with 16 points and five rebounds for Baskonia. His team trailed 50 – 37 at halftime and was then completely overwhelmed as Malaga took a 67 – 45 lead halfway through the third period.
Malaga, the reigning Basketball Champions League champs, continued in the same tone to ultimately grab a blowout win.
