Bad news for Real Madrid, as Usman Garuba has reportedly suffered an injury to his left foot.
According to MARCA, the Spanish center, who returned to Madrid this summer, could be sidelined for six to eight weeks to avoid overloading the injured area.
Therefore, Garuba is set to miss the Spanish Super Cup, scheduled to be played in Murcia on September 21st and 22nd, where the Blancos will face Barcelona in the semifinal.
The 22-year-old center returned to Real Madrid after three years in the NBA, where he had limited minutes with the Houston Rockets and Golden State Warriors, spending a significant portion of his time in the G League.
