Luka Samanic joined Fenerbahce to strengthen Sarunas Jasikevicius’ team, but it looks like his adventure could end sooner rather than later.
As reported by Eurohoops earlier today, the Turkish team is close to an agreement with former Toronto Raptors and Olympiacos center Khem Birch, who was with Girona last year.
Now, the yellow-and-blue powerhouse released an update on the situation regarding the Croatian big man. “Our player Luka Samanic took leave from our club for personal reasons and went to his country on Friday, September 6th”, the press release says.
“The process is being closely monitored by our branch officials, and the necessary information regarding our player’s situation will be provided in the coming days”, the announcement ends.
