Evan Fournier’s return to Europe has turned Olympiacos back into a Final Four contender, and he will be one of the most exciting players to watch in this year’s EuroLeague.
As of now, he only debuted in friendly game action, taking part in the Greek team’s 87-83 victory over Crvena Zvezda in the Peace and Friendship Stadium in Piraeus. The French guard went scoreless from the field but had 8 assists for his teammates.
In the win behind closed doors, Moses Wright dominated the encounter with a double-double of 25 points and 10 rebounds, followed in scoring by another returning superstar like Sasha Vezenkov. The 2022-23 EuroLeague MVP had 24 points in his team’s victory.
For the Serbians, Codi Miller-McIntyre continues to be the main focus of attention, as he led once again with 18 points; the former Baskonia playmaker had a good partnership in the backcourt with Yago dos Santos, who finished with 17 points and 5 assists. Joel Bolomboy and Ognjen Dobric had 14 points each.
