Olympiacos Piraeus center Nikola Milutinov suffered an ankle sprain that will keep him out of action for four to six weeks.

Milutinov was hurt during practice Monday (9/9) and the examinations he underwent showed that he sustained a Grade B sprain in his ankle. Olympiacos is already missing center Moustapha Fall, whose return timetable has yet to be determined.

Olympiacos will have to deal without Milutinov in the upcoming Greek SuperCup tournament (28/9 – 29/9), the 2024-25 EuroLeague opener at Fenerbahce Beko (4/10) and the start of the upcoming Greek League season.

With Milutinov out, Filip Petrusev and Moses Wright will share the “5” position duties.

Milutinov averaged 7.8 points and 5.6 rebounds over 18:06 minutes in the 2023-24 EuroLeague.
