Barcelona entered the 2024 Catalan League tournament with a 90 – 77 win over Morabanc Andorra. The Blaugrana need a win over Girona or a loss by less than three points to advance to the Final.
Kevin Punter and Nicolas Laprovittola scored 16 points apiece for Barcelona while Jabari Parker had 15 points. Chimezie Metu scored 12 points and grabbed nine rebounds.
Shannon Evans and Sekou Doumbouya stood out from Andorra with 15 points each.
The 45th edition of the Catalan League takes place in Tarragona and is held with six teams: Barcelona, Joventut Badalona, BAXI Manresa, Hiopos Lleida, Basquet Lleida and Andorra. The latter are from another region of Spain but belong to the Catalan Basketball Federation.
