The final of the preseason Crete tournament came down to the wire, with Tyler Dorsey having the final say.
The Olympiacos guard hit the game-winning shot with 0.8 seconds on the clock to give the Piraeus team a 73-70 victory over his former team, Fenerbahce.
Hero Dorsey finished the match with 15 points, with Sasha Vezenkov matching his performance with 15 points as well. Moses Wright followed the duo with 12 points and eight rebounds for the winning side, while Filip Petrusev added eight points and five boards.
On the other side, Nigel Hayes-Davis led the way for Fenerbahce with 16 points, Scottie Wilbekin added 12, and Bonzie Colson contributed 11 points.
Sarunas Jasikevicius’ side also faced problems with Tarik Biberovic getting injured in the final moments of the first half, spraining his ankle.
Olimpia Milano takes 3rd place
In the match for 3rd place at Crete tournament, Olimpia Milano defeated Virtus Bologna in the Italian derby, 73-62.
Zach Leday stole the show for the winning side with 14 points and just two rebounds shy of a double-double, while Nikola Mirotic followed him with 10 points.
On the other side, Ante Zizic recorded a double-double for Virtus with 14 points and 10 rebounds, while Isaia Cordinier added 12 points.
