Barcelona claimed the Catalan League title once again, defeating BAXI Manresa to win their 25th title in the tournament’s 45 editions.
Joan Peñarroya’s side dominated from the third quarter onwards, securing a final score of 98-81.
Willy Hernangómez led the way with 17 points, Nicolás Laprovittola added 12, while Justin Anderson contributed 13. Kevin Punter and Jabari Parker each scored 11 points.
On the other side, Derrick Alston and Cameron Hunt stood out with 19 points each, while Emmanuel Cate added 10 points.
Baskonia falls to Zaragoza
Another Spanish EuroLeague team, Baskonia, played a preseason game and eventually fell to fellow ACB team Casademont Zaragoza, 89-83.
Marco Spissu and Emir Sulejmanović led the winning side with 15 points each, while Baskonia had five players in double figures but still ended up losing.
Captain Tadas Sedekerskis led Pablo Laso’s team with 16 points, Markus Howard followed with 12, and Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot and Chima Moneke added 11 points each. Kamar Baldwin contributed 10 points.
