Monaco is keeping its EuroLeague position because the team is making the playoffs and if they miss them, then they will also lose the spot which was won via the EuroCup.

That’s why club owner Aleksej Fedoriscev repeated in today’s presentation of the team to the journalist for the upcoming season, that his goal remains a long term license with the competition: “AS Monaco is ambitious both on and off the court. Our goal is to have long-term participation in the EuroLeague. We are not just here for the short term; we aim to be a permanent part of the league now and in the future. Our focus is on consistently competing at the highest level and growing as a club”.

Despite the reported financial issues of Fedoriscev with the Italian authorities, which himself dismissed as formalities, nothing change in Monaco and the plan that the club has for the future

As Fedoriscev confirmed once more, his involvement with basketball is long-term: “While we are still relatively new in our European journey, we have already shown that we can compete at the highest level with attractive and exciting basketball. Our goal now, as a united Monaco family, is to maintain and make this a lasting and sustainable project. The team’s culture, which is built on strong work ethics and ambition, will continue to be the foundation for everything we do. These pillars will help us deliver on our long-term vision”.
