Anadolu Efes edges Partizan before “Pavlos Giannakopoulos” tournament

Anadolu Efes is set to face Maccabi Tel Aviv, while Partizan will meet Panathinaikos at the “Pavlos Giannakopoulos” tournament on Saturday, but before that, the Turkish and Serbian clubs clashed in a friendly game.

After 40 minutes of an interesting and intense battle, Anadolu Efes edged Zeljko Obradovic’s team, 81-80.

Jordan Nwora and Elijah Bryant led the way for the winning side with 15 points each, while Rolands Smits added 10, and Darius Thompson, Ercan Osmani, and Derek Willis scored nine points each.

On the other side, former Efes player Tyrique Jones finished the game with 24 rebounds but couldn’t convert the winning shot in the final seconds after an offensive rebound.

Brandon Davies, with 18 points, Carlik Jones with 13, and Isaac Bonga with 10 points followed the former TBSL MVP.
