Thumb fracture for Kostas Antetokounmpo, knee pains for Sloukas

In the aftermath of the historic night at Panathenaic Stadium, the Greens are facing injury woes.

Kostas Antetokounmpo suffered a fracture in the thumb of his right hand and will miss the Greek Super Cup. There’s also an issue with Kostas Sloukas, who will undergo an MRI on his left knee as he felt discomfort.

Antetokounmpo went to the hospital for tests which showed that he suffered a fracture, while he was fitted with a splint and is expected to be out for three weeks.

He is expected to miss also the start of the Euroleague and the Greek Basketball League.

Also, Lorenzo Brown continues the treatment for the foot inflammation that is bothering him. The two players will not follow the mission to Turkey for the two prep with Efes and Galatasaray.
