Barcelona has informed Costas Papanikolaou that it will make the final decision tomorrow.
Well informed sources of Eurohoops.net mention that the only reason behind Barcelona’s delay on said decision is a specific fact: The club wants to discuss things with the player himself, listen to what he thinks and, more importantly, what he wants for himself.
According to our sources, although Barcelona wants Papanikolaou and has the final word on the matter, if the people of the club see that the player is not really interested in moving to Spain again, then they will respect his decision.
As you probably already know, Barcelona is able to sign the player simply by matching the offer of Olympiacos. However, the club’s management will not do that unless the player also wants to return to the team. This is an example of great behavior towards Papanikolaou.
