With five players scoring in double figures, Anadolu Efes beat Panathinaikos Athens 90 – 75 in a preparation game that was held behind closed doors in Istanbul. This was the last training camp match for both sides ahead of their official games that begin this weekend.
Elijah Bryant led Efes with 15 points while Jordan Nwora had 12 points. Ercan Osmani added 10 points plus six rebounds for Efes that was without Shane Larkin.
Omer Yurtseven posted 14 points plus 11 rebounds for Panathinaikos. Kendrick Nunn notched 12 points plus five assists and Marius Grigonis scored 12. The reigning EuroLeague champions were missing Kostas Sloukas, Lorenzo Brown and Kostas Antetokounmpo while Mathias Lessort didn’t play for precautionary reasons.
