Partizan Belgrade president Ostoja Mijailovic revealed that the club budget for the 2024-25 season is 23,000,000, a sum that includes all expenses of the organization.
“I didn’t speak until now, we adopted a budget of 23,000,000 euros a few days ago,” Mijailovic said to Serbia’s RTS network. The number is just lower than the budget of Crvena Zvezda, Partizan’s archrival.
“As for the players and coaching staff, the budget is 15,000,000 euros, and the rest is the club’s expenses. Also, in those 23,000,000, the state gives five million euros, just like last year, which meant a lot to us. Just to draw a parallel – when I came to the club, the debts were 15,000,000 euros, and then we had a budget of 1,500,000. At that time, we had eight coaches on the payroll who worked in Partizan and the ninth was Muta Nikolić.”
Last season, Mijailovic set the club budget at “around 20 million.”
Partizan underwent a major renovation during the offseason. The team parted ways with such players as Kevin Punter, Zach LeDay, James Nunnally, Bruno Caboco, Terry Rozier and Frank Kaminsky.
Punter alone was paid 2.6 million, one of the top three contracts last season in the EuroLeague.
Some of the most notable transfers that Partizan did last summer were Iffe Lundberg, Brandon Davies and former NBA guard Carlik Jones.
