Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv has signed Alpha Kaba to a one-and-a-half-month contract due to the injurz of Wenyen Gabriel.
The 28-year-old French-Guinean center previously played for ASVEL Villeurbanne and Valencia, and has significant experience in European basketball.
Kaba began his career in Pau-Orthez’s youth academy and played for teams like Mega Basket, Buducnost VOLI and Gaziantep, where he was named MVP of the 2021-2022 Turkish league season.
Last year he averaged 16,2 points and 13,1 rebounds in China, playing for Jiangsu Dragons, and made seven ACB regular season appereances for Valencia.
Maccabi announced the new signing shortly after reaching the League Cup final by defeating Hapoel Holon.
